Geboren am 3. Oktober 1962 in Oberlahnstein, verheiratet, zwei Kinder. 1982 Abitur am Helmholtz-Gymnasium in Bonn, 1982 bis 1987 Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der TU Berlin, Schwerpunkt Marketing. 1987 Abschluss als Diplom-Kaufmann.

1987 bis 1989 war er als Regieassistent und persönlicher Assistent des Generalintendanten der Staatlichen Schauspielbühnen Berlin, Heribert Sasse, engagiert. Ab 1989 arbeitete Stefan Ludwig als freier Theaterregisseur (u. a. Jerome Kiltys "Geliebter Lügner" mit Judy Winter und Hermann Ebeling. Seit 1990 ist er freiberuflich als Dialogautor und Regisseur bei Film- und Fernsehsynchronisationen tätig (ca. 400 Dialogbücher und 150 Regiearbeiten).

Mitte der 90er folgen unter der Regie von Stefan Ludwig Produktionen von Radiowerbespots, sowie Inszenierungen von Werbeevents (u. a. 1994 die Europapräsentation des 7er BMW).

1997 beginnt seine Mitarbeit bei Vmax MEDIA. Seit 1999 ist Stefan Ludwig auch Gesellschafter der Vmax MEDIA. Hier ist er verantwortlich für die künstlerische Gestaltung und Umsetzung der Projekte.

From 1987 until 1989 he worked as assistant director and personal advisor of the General Director of the state owned stages in Berlin, Heribert Sasse. From 1989 onwards, Stefan Ludwig worked as an independent theatre director (among others Jerome Kilty's "Dear Liar" starring Judy Winter and Hermann Ebeling). Since 1990 he works as an independent dialogue author and director for movie and TV synchronisations (approx. 400 dialogue books / approx. 150 productions.

During the 90's, Stefan Ludwig produced radio advertisements and other advertisement events (e. g. in 1994, the European presentation of the new BMW 7 model).

In 1997, Stefan Ludwig started to work with Vmax MEDIA and is since 1999 managing director of the company. He is responsible for the artistic fashioning and realisation of projects.
